Made in
the U.S.A. and readily available to support your needs, the revolutionary
Real-T Endo teeth will allow you to practice complete endodontic treatment
outside of a human patient. Whether you are using the Real-T Endo teeth for
a board exam, in dental school or a continuing education course, you will
find that our artificial endo teeth are standardized from one to the next
and have an accurate and realistic tooth anatomy for today’s practicing
dentists.
The Real-T Endo teeth are currently available for the maxillary central incisor,
maxillary first premolar and first maxillary molar. All teeth have clear roots
so that you can view the fill after endodontic treatment.
Real-T
Endo #8
The anatomically shaped Real-T Endo #8 tooth has a “flame shaped”
length of about 25 mm from incisal edge to the tip of the apex and the mesiodistal
width is about 8.5mm. The size of the pulp access when properly opened is
about 1/4 to 1/2 the width of the lingual surface. This width allows for
complete removal of the pulp horns. The initial width of the canal, prior
to instrumentation, binds with less than a #35 file. You will find that
the canal is tapered with constriction close to the apex as found in a natural
central incisor. |

Real-T
Endo #12
This maxillary first premolar has two distinct roots with one placed buccally
and the other palatally. The pulp chamber is lined centrally between both
buccal lingual cusps. Terrific for practicing an ovoid access preparation
to learn how to prevent perforation of the tooth. |

Real-T
Endo #14
The three-rooted Real-T Endo #14 tooth has a confluence of the three canals
and is triangular shaped. The walls, floor and ceiling of the pulp chamber
are smooth and flow nicely into the canals. The depth and location of the
pulp chamber is proportional to the size and shape of the crown. The length
of the tooth is no more than 23mm. The Real-T Endo #14 tooth is designed
to perform an ideal access and for it to be confined to the mesial triangular
pit and central fossa of the tooth, up to but not including the mesial buccal
cusp tip so that the marginal ridge, oblique ridge and all other cusps are
supported by dentin-like material. Optimal access allows for the removal
of all pulp horns and straight line access to the canal orifices.
The Real-T Endo #14 tooth is currently available as a standalone tooth
or in the Breakaway Insert (photo on right) for easy placement into the
ModuPRO. |

Placing
the Real-T Endo teeth into the ModuPRO
The modules intended for mounting the Real-T Endo teeth are AE 7-12T and
AE13-15 WP. The #8 socket in module AE7-12 T can accommodate the anatomically
shaped Real-T Endo #8 tooth and is held in place with a retaining screw
in the lingual side of the module. The AE13-15 WP module can accommodate
the Real-T Endo #14 three rooted endo tooth pre-mounted in a Breakaway Insert
for ease of plugging into the AE13-15 WP module for performing an entire
root canal procedure or an access opening for pulpotomy only. To price and
purchase the Real-T Endo teeth or related accessories, please visit the
