| ModuPRO
Pros Model |
$184.00 | Outstanding
modularized typodont for use with multiple disciplines creating tremendous
flexibility. The ModuPRO Pros model has six modules with M210 Series melamine
teeth all retained by a screw providing Class I occlusion. Includes innovative
self-adjusting articulator for effortless calibration. The ModuPRO Pros
model can also be placed into many simulation systems employed today.
Easy to interchange other ModuPRO modules, such as endo, so you can perform
a multitude of various dental procedures all on one platform. |

| Real-T Endo Tooth #8 (Radiolucent) | $14.35 | The
Real-T Endo #8 tooth has received enthusiastic reviews from the endodontic
community due to the realistic canal size and overall anatomy. The Real-T
Endo #8 tooth has a “flame shaped” length of about 25 mm from
incisal edge to the tip of the apex and the mesiodistal width is about
8.5mm. The size of the pulp access when properly opened is about 1/4 to
1/2 the width of the lingual surface. This width allows for complete removal
of the pulp horns. The initial width of the canal, prior to instrumentation,
binds with less than a #30 file. You will find that the canal is tapered
with constriction close to the apex as found in a natural central incisor.

ModuPRO™
Overview/Description:
The ModuPRO is a modularized typodont that has both the upper
and lower arches divided into removable segments.
There are three modules in the maxillary arch (2-6; 7-12 and 13-15) and three in the mandibular arch (18-20; 21-27 and 28-31). The base, which is called the Carrier Tray, is where the modules are placed and conveniently fits universally onto many of today’s simulation systems. The anodized aluminum Carrier Trays fit onto a variety of simulation systems and provide extreme reliability under many clinical situations.
The ModuPRO
is designed to teach multiple dental disciplines in one typodont with added
flexibility for the instructor, student and dental board.
Attaching the ModuPRO™
Carrier Trays™ to Various Simulation Systems:
Many universities are integrating a simulation lab. The highly durable aluminum
Carrier Trays can be universally mounted to most simulation systems and manikin
heads, this includes center-mount screws, such as Frasaco™, magnetic mounts,
such as KaVo™ G40 and Nissin™. With the use of Acadental's articulator,
the end-user can attach the Carrier Trays to an existing post/pole mount.
Requirements for the test site should be in the university instruction letter
sent in your confirmation package by the CRDTS.
Endodontics:
CRDTS is
using the #8 and #14 Real-T Endo teeth for the endodontic section of the manikin
exam. These artificial endo teeth are designed to have accurate and realistic
tooth anatomy and design. The artificial endo modules intended for mounting
the Real-T artificial endo teeth are AE 7-12 and AE13-15. The #8 socket in module
AE7-12 can accommodate the anatomically shaped Real-T #8 endo tooth and is held
in place with a retaining screw in the lingual side of the module. The AE13-15
module is designed to allow the Real-T #14 three rooted endo tooth with Breakaway
Insert. The user can simply plug the Breakaway Insert into the AE13-15 module
with the complement of other modules for an entire maxillary arch. Once in place,
an entire root canal procedure or an access opening can be performed and the
tooth removed once completed.
For more information related to the Real-T Endo teeth, please visit the Real-T
web page.
Prosthodontics:
The modules required for the full-ceramic crown, full-cast crown
and porcelain-fused-to-metal procedures are designed to accommodate a full set
of artificial teeth - tooth #2 thru #15 in the maxillary arch and tooth #18
thru #31 in the mandibular arch. The prosthodontic modules are numbered in the
following manner: A 2-6; A 7-12; A 13-15; A 18-20; A 21-27 and A 28-31. Both
multilayered and single layered teeth fit into the tooth sockets. The ModuPRO
is compatible with the Nissin-Kilgore two-stage 200 Series teeth and are fastened
with a 1.5mm screw.
